Today marks a historic moment as Enugu State welcomed the esteemed President of Nigeria, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The President’s visit not only highlighted his commitment to national unity but also served as an endorsement of the transformative strides taken by our administration. This momentous occasion was underscored by the commissioning of several groundbreaking projects that symbolize the vision of a prosperous and thriving Enugu State.

Transformative Projects for Enugu State

Among the flagship projects commissioned by President Tinubu were:

  • 30 Completed Enugu Smart Green Schools: Part of a larger initiative to construct 260 such schools, these facilities are designed to redefine education by integrating modern technology with eco-friendly infrastructure, ensuring our children are equipped for the challenges of the future.

  • 60 Fully Equipped Type 2 Primary Healthcare Centres: Strategically located across 260 wards, these healthcare centres aim to bring quality medical services closer to our people, fostering a healthier and more productive society.

  • Enugu International Conference Centre: This state-of-the-art hub for global engagement promises to position Enugu as a destination for international events, conferences, and collaborations, boosting tourism and economic activities.

  • 90 Newly Completed Urban Roads: To ease mobility and enhance connectivity, these roads will play a crucial role in driving commerce, reducing travel time, and improving the overall quality of life for residents.

  • AI-Driven Command and Control Centre: Equipped with 150 AI-embedded patrol vehicles, this initiative marks a revolutionary step in security management, ensuring the safety of our communities and making Enugu a haven for investors and residents alike.



A Vision for Economic Growth

These projects reflect our administration’s overarching vision to elevate Enugu’s economy from its current valuation of $4.4 billion to an ambitious $30 billion within the next eight years. This is not merely a goal; it is a responsibility we owe to our people. With strategic investments in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and security, we are laying the groundwork for sustained growth and prosperity.



Security: The Pillar of Progress

Recognizing that security is paramount, we have implemented an AI-driven surveillance network alongside the Distress Response Squad. These initiatives have redefined public safety, guaranteeing peace of mind for residents and creating an environment conducive to investment and development.

President Tinubu’s visit also served as a reminder of the importance of unity. As he aptly stated, “The elections are behind us; now is the time to unite and drive our nation forward.” In this spirit, we extend a hand of collaboration across all political affiliations, emphasizing that our shared mission is to build an Enugu State and a Nigeria that uplift every citizen.
