On December 28, 2024, the esteemed Dr. Andy N. Nkalari and his wife, Princess Dr. Mrs. Yvette Nkalari, were honored with the chieftaincy titles of AKU NDI IRE 1 and UGWU DI YA AKU NDI IRE I of Ibeku, respectively. The conferment ceremony took place at Eze Ibezim's Palace in Amuzukwu Ibeku, commencing at 11:00 AM, followed by a reception at the Nkalari residence.



Dr. Andy N. Nkalari is a distinguished community leader, recognized for his significant contributions both in Dallas, Texas, and his hometown of Umuahia Ibeku in Abia State, Nigeria. His leadership and dedication have earned him the respect and admiration of many, serving as a father figure and mentor within these communities.

The chieftaincy titles bestowed upon Dr. and Dr. Mrs. Nkalari are deeply symbolic within the Ibeku tradition.
